Vede Pasta is fresh, handcrafted pasta made from either premium, sustainable durum semolina or certified organic semolina and purified water. No eggs, so it’s vegan too! The dough is stretched, shaped and individually quick-frozen so that it arrives in customers’ hands as fresh as the day it was made.

Expert pastai and Italian restaurateur, Beau Vedelago and his Italian cuisine chef and pastai, Bruce McKenna have created a range of exquisite wholesale fresh, handcrafted pasta that will spoil you for all other pasta.
Instead of using an extruder, which can result in tough, dryer pasta, Vede Pasta uses state-of-the-art machinery with silicone ‘fingers’ that replicate the movement of human hands. It’s as close as you can get to handmade, but at a larger scale, because EVERYONE loves top quality pasta!

Vede Pasta uses 100% sustainable NSW premium semolina and filtered water and 100% organic ‘wholegrain milling’ semolina and filtered water. Currently available in the following 4 formats for retail:
- Strascinate
- Orecchiette
- Strozzaprete
- Capunti
Available in 400g retail bags (supplied in cartons of 12) and 1kg foodservice bags (6 x 1kg bags to a carton).
A total of 12 varieties are available for foodservice, including Cavatelli and Foglie de Ulivo. Speak to Vede Pasta about your requirements.
Supplied frozen
Quick freezing fresh pasta individually is the healthiest, most natural way to preserve pasta so the aroma, flavour, colour and nutritional qualities remain unaltered. The pasta has an 18-month shelf life at -18°C, allowing the pasta to be enjoyed right away or in the future.
Rapid cooking
Vede Pasta is fresh, so it cooks in just 2-5 minutes from frozen, depending on the shape. There is no need to thaw first, making this absolutely ideal for fast gourmet food.
Food safety and sustainability
Vede Pasta is manufactured in a state-of-the-art, solar powered facility where strict HACCP food safety practices are followed. The pasta has traceability from farm to market, providing great confidence that you are eating the very best.
Only Australia’s best, sustainable semolina is used, sourced from NSW. Each batch is traceable and sent directly to Vede Pasta.

Foodservice
Vede Pasta can be par-cooked for convenience in busy hospitality environments. Cook according to the indicated time, depending on the level of par-cooking required. Add a generous amount of olive oil and refrigerate or blast chill, then portion. Add straight from the fridge into a simmering pan or tray of sauce. Cook until al dente.
